Class Etiquette Dress Code Partners

Oly's is committed to the highest standards of dress, conduct and respect for others. We believe that a good appearance helps students achieve a greater level of self-confidence, poise and self esteem.
  • Ballroom Dance shoes are encouraged, but not required. You are welcome to wear regular shoes with non-marking soles. No sneakers, please!
  • Attire and accessories should reflect modesty and not cause undue attention or embarassment when bending over or reaching up.
  • Shorts and skirts should be at a length that is not higher than the natural curve of your fingers when arms are hanging straight down at your side.
  • Pants and slacks should be worn at a respectable level at the waist. Low waist and some hip-hugger pants can be very revealing when bending or sitting down.
  • If your instructor or the director deems your attire or accessories to be dangerous or disruptive, you will be asked to change.
